I created the No Salt Added Seasoning Line out of love and desperation. In 1997, when my husband was diagnosed with diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure, his doctors insisted that he dramatically reduce salt and sugar intake for the sake of his health. We complied with the doctor's wishes and began our journey to reduce sodium intake and find healthy seasoning substitutes. After trying a number of different spices on the market, we found that nothing gave the food the flavor we were accustomed to. Meal time was bland, unsatisfying and depressing. Reducing salt and sugar from our diet was much harder than we thought it would be. I needed to find a solution for preparing healthy meals that were stilled bursting with flavor. For a person who has spent a lifetime eating good tasting, but not so healthy food, I quickly found out just how challenging this task really was. Through trial and error, I developed a high quality, natural seasoning line without adding any unwanted salt and we were once again able to take pleasure in cooking and eating. I figured out how to reduce salt and sodium during mealtime and we started practicing a healthy eating lifestyle. 
Our main purpose is to assist families in preparing one delicious and healthy meal for the entire family, including the family member who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. Statistics have shown that if one family member has been diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or obesity, it is likely that other family members will be diagnosed in later years. Reducing salt intake by preparing food without adding unwanted salt is essential in assisting your family in maintaining good health.
